Hi there! I'm Cody, the proud co-owner of the shop with my amazing wife, Tonya. Together, we’ve made Skiatook, OK our home for over 15 years now. Our family includes six kids and five grandkids, and we love being a part of this community.
I have a background in serving our country in the U.S. Army as a Blackhawk helicopter mechanic for 14 years, and I also spent an additional 15 years in the civil aviation field, including time at Tulsa Life Flight and Air Evac Lifeteam. However, as of January 2023, I've left the aviation field to be at the shop full-time and focus on our business.
Working on cars, aircraft, and anything mechanical has always been my passion. I love taking on new challenges and figuring out how things work. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, whether it's camping, four-wheeling, mudding, or just hanging out.
I'm friendly and approachable and always happy to chat about anything mechanical. So, feel free to drop by our shop; I'd love to meet you!
Tonya Cody

Hi there! I'm Tonya, and I've called Skiatook my home for the past 15 years. I love this community and am proud to be a part of it. Before joining my husband, Cody, at the Mechanix, I worked in the insurance industry handling claims for 14 years. My family includes my husband, six children, and five grandchildren.
In my free time, I love spending time outdoors, camping, and reading. I also enjoy adding excitement to my husband's life by scaring him every once in a while. I'm a friendly and hardworking person, and I'm proud to be a part of the Mechanix family.

Emily Cody
Service Writer
Emily is from Skiatook, OK. She is the voice behind the phone and the face that greets you when you walk into the office. You may also see her around town, picking up parts. She occasionally turns wrenches in the shop. She is the daughter of Tonya and Cody.
As a Service Writer, Emily plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the service department. She is responsible for communicating with customers to understand their vehicle issues, coordinating with the mechanics to schedule repairs, and ensuring that all necessary parts are available for each job. Emily also manages the service records, provides estimates for repairs, and keeps customers informed about the status of their vehicles. Her attention to detail and excellent organizational skills help maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and efficient workflow in the shop.
Emily's friendly demeanor and technical knowledge make her an invaluable asset to the team.
Christian Cody
Electronics Technician
Christian is from Skiatook, OK. He served six years in the military, specializing in electronics and data systems. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering at WGU, focusing on Java, JavaScript, and Python programming.
As an Electronics Technician, Christian excels in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in a wide range of vehicles, from everyday cars to advanced diesel engines. His military background and technical expertise ensure that vehicles are mechanically sound and electronically optimized. He integrates and troubleshoots modern automotive technologies, maintaining The Mechanix's high standards of service.
