James Cody aka Cody. Owner/mechanic with 30 years of experience. Cody has been happily married to Tonya for four years. They have six children and three grandchildren. He is from Skiatook, OK.
He was in the Army for 14 years as a Blackhawk mechanic. He then spent 15 years at Tulsa Life Flight as a Lead Mechanic and Maintenance Manager. He also worked for Air Evac Lifeteam as a Maintenance Director.
Cody has always had a passion for working on cars, aircraft, and anything mechanical. In his free time, he enjoys camping with family and friends, four-wheeling, mudding, and spending time with family.
Owner / Bookkeeper
Tonya is originally from Sapulpa, OK, and has made Skiatook her home for the last five years. Tonya worked insurance claims for 14 years before helping to start the Mechanix.
She is married to James Cody. They have six children and three grandchildren. In her free time, she loves to camp, read and scare her husband.
Front Desk / Runner
Kayla is from Sand Springs, OK. She is the voice behind the phone and the face that greets you when you walk into the office. You may also see her around town, picking up parts. She occasionally turns wrenches in the shop.
She is the daughter of Tonya and Cody and has one daughter. In her free time, she likes to hunt, fish, and go camping with her daughter.
MaKenna Hubble is the newest mechanic on our team. She is from Skiatook, OK, and is a senior in school. She is taking Automotive Light Repair at Tulsa Tech and is a member of the National Technical Honor Society. MaKenna works part-time as an apprentice.
We love her enthusiasm and helping her learn the automotive trade.
In her free time, she likes to walk her dog and play guitar.
